Ingredients

Corned Beef

  • 400-500g Quality Mark Corned Beef Silverside
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 2 small brown onions, chopped into quarters
  • 3-4 carrots, chopped

Method

Corned Beef

Rinse beef under cold water. Place beef in a slow cooker and almost cover with water. Add golden syrup, vinegar, peppercorns, chopped onions and carrots and stir liquid. 

Cook on high for 4-6 hours, or low for 6-7 hours. 

We love to use leftover corned beef in our brunch beef hash the following day.
