500g Quality Mark beef mince

1 1/2 cups rice, white, assorted grains, cooked in unsalted water

3/4 tsp salt

2 eggs

2 tbsp oil

arrow

1, diced onion

arrow

2, crushed garlic cloves

arrow

1 tbsp soy sauce

arrow

2, grated or finely cubed carrots

2 cups mixed vegetables

1/4 cabbage, or 4 large silverbeet leaves, finely sliced cabbage

1/4 cup sweet soy sauce

arrow

1/4 cup brown sugar

Method

To Cook Rice

To Make Eggs

To Make Sauce

To Make Mince

To Serve

Place rice, 2¼ cups water and salt into a medium pot and bring to the boil.

Once it starts to boil, turn it right down to the lowest heat and pop on the lid.

Cook for 12 minutes, turn off, leave the lid on (do not lift it off) for 8 minutes.

Prepare vegetables as above and set aside.
