400g Quality Mark beef mince
1 egg yolk
salt and pepper
your favourite dried mixed herbs

and spices (optional)
To assemble
4 burger buns
burger sauce
or any of your favourites
4 cups salad greens

loosely packed
Optional additions
pineapple
beetroot
egg
fried
mayonnaise
relish
tomato sauce
fried Portobello mushroom
or onion
Method
For the burgers

Combine patty ingredients in a large bowl. Mix until well combined, then form into 4-6 balls and flatten to about the same width of the bun and place on a large plate.

Cook patties in a hot pan with a drizzle of oil until golden and cooked through.

Toast the buns if desired.

Assemble the burgers by spreading the sauce on the buns, top with the patty, salad and any additional filing ingredients, if desired.

Serve and enjoy.
