Award-winning chef, Rex Morgan, is the host of Māori Television's Kitchen Kura and a fixture of the New Zealand culinary scene.

Now retired from cheffing, Rex was co-owner of the iconic Boulcott St Bistro in Wellington and a director of Citron culinary consultancy group. He also owned the well-known degustation restaurant Citron. His many awards include New Zealand chef of the year, Dominion Post Chef of the Year and the Wellington Felix & Capital Award for Outstanding Chef.

Rex regularly appears at culinary shows and makes guest chef appearances here and abroad. He has appeared as a guest judge on Masterchef NZ, was a host on TV3 and Food channel's "The Great Food Escape" series, and he has been a consultant chef to Air New Zealand's Business Class menus for the past 9 years.

Having been in the industry for over 30 years, Rex has worked in establishments such as Huka Lodge & London's Blakes Hotel.
