Matt Melville is the creator of an award-winning range of BBQ rubs and sauces, a cooking enthusiast, and one of New Zealand's most respected BBQ masters.

Matt's passion for food began as a child. Growing up in Sydney, Chinese food was a Friday night treat in his family and this love of Asian flavours has carried through to his cooking today, especially when creating leftover dishes or light snacks for the family.

Matt's love of barbecuing also began at a young age. At 10, Matt first learned to BBQ using a simple wood fired BBQ. Today, he and his wife have built a family-run business around BBQ. Everything from seasonings and sauces, to master classes and recipe development.
