Fry onion and meat in 1 tbs oil, add salt and papper to taste. Fry untill cooked, add peas before cooked and let it get cold before making the pies.
Mix flour, baking powder then mix in butter untill crumbly. Add salt and then enough water to make pliable dough. Leave to sit for 1 hour. Break off pieces about dessert spoon full of filling in the center of the dough and fold over the other half to make a half moon shape. Seal edges together with a litte water. Fry in hot oil quickly on both sides, approx 2-3 mins.
Serve hot or cold. Best but out of the fry pan. Have them just by them self or with tomato sauce
